Design for the Future. NOT Past.



Eddie Obeng talks in the TED video about challenges that businesses currently face: "Environment changes faster than learning".

The main problem, according to him, is that
many businesses work on designing solutions for past problems which keep them behind, in the past. They fail to design solutions that will also NOT create problems in the future.

He provides a graph that looks like this (this a screenshot, I did not draw the graph or own it):
This graph shows that the focus should be on creating technologies for the future that won't cause problems.
